Quick Guide
- Pair once: My Devices → Login → My Devices → Add Camera.
- Mount Aimcatch.
- Aim at a target, dry fire, press the cogwheel button, and adjust the aim with the arrows.
- Press the YouTube button to train with video scenarios.
Step-by-Step Guide
Aimcatch helps you train with dry fire or live fire, review shot movement, and use video scenarios at home. Always follow normal firearm safety rules and local regulations.
1. First-Time Setup
Go to aimcatch.com, press My Devices, then Login. After logging in, open My Devices again and select Add Camera.
Make sure Aimhotspot Wi-Fi is available. Follow the instructions on the page. They guide you through connecting Aimcatch to Wi-Fi and pressing the camera button while holding the camera in the requested direction.
The setup sequence is normally:
- Press the camera button while the camera points horizontally.
- Press the camera button while the camera points downward.
- Press the camera button while the camera points downward again.
The page confirms each successful step. When setup is complete, press Done to open your Aimcatch device page.
First pair Aimcatch using Aimhotspot Wi-Fi. After pairing is complete, you can connect the camera to your own home Wi-Fi network. Press the cogwheel button and follow the instructions for Wi-Fi setup.
2. Mount Aimcatch
Aimcatch can be mounted with the included 15-18 mm barrel mount, the included 18-21 mm barrel mount, or directly on a compatible Picatinny or Weaver rail.
For a barrel mount, first attach the correct mount around the barrel, then slide Aimcatch onto the mount. For a rail mount, gently slide Aimcatch onto the rail.
For live-fire training, secure the camera with the included M3 bolt and nut.

3. Adjust the Aim
Mount Aimcatch on the firearm you want to use. At the distance where you plan to train, aim at a target and dry fire.
Open Settings by pressing
the cogwheel button.
Use the arrows to move the Aimcatch point of aim
until it matches your target.
Repeat this adjustment whenever you change firearm or train at a significantly different distance. This makes the feedback correspond to the firearm and range you are using.
Further down on the Settings page, you can also adjust Picture Presentation, Trigger Filter, Bullet Settings and Wi-Fi.
4. Train and Review Each Shot
Press the picture button to
see all pictures.
New pictures appear automatically on this page. Aimcatch shows what happened immediately before and after each shot. Review aim movement, lead, trigger control, and timing directly on your phone, tablet, computer, TV, or projector.
Use the plus and minus buttons to set the shooting distance.
5. Train with Video Scenarios
Press the YouTube button
to open the video page.
Here you can select included training videos. You can also add your own YouTube videos.
During training, Aimcatch shows picture-in-picture overlay on top of the video. For supported clay and moose scenarios, automatic score tracking is shown on this YouTube page.
